Kidd just cant Kiss Jersey Goodbye...

I know this mugshot has nothing to do with this story but i thought it was funny...

Well in the latest Jason Kidd trade talks he has been traded...on an agreement the Dallas Mavericks and New Jersey Nets agreed on a trade Wednesday. Earlier Wednesday, NBA front-office sources told ESPN.com that the teams had verbally agreed on a seven-player deal in which Dallas would send 24-year-old point guard Devin Harris, veteran swingman Jerry Stackhouse, center DeSagana Diop, guard Maurice Ager and Devean George -- along with a league-maximum cash inducement of $3 million and two future first-round picks -- to the Nets for Kidd and forward Malik Allen.
But there is one problem Devean George refuses to sign off on the trade because he has early bird free agency rights that will be waived if he is traded. Somewhat similar to having a no trade clause(which Kobe Bryant is the only player to have). league rules dictate that players on a one-year contract -- but who spent the previous season with the same team and are thus eligible for Early Bird free-agent rights at the end of the contract -- cannot be traded without their consent.
I doubt he won’t sign for the trade to go through I mean who wants to stay in a place that they are not wanted and I am pretty sure people in the Dallas Mavericks organization would be pretty pissed if he didn’t sign. I think the Mavericks are crazy for giving up that much for Kidd he is a great player but um don’t you think he is beginning or going to begin to roll down that hill.

Let My Beat Pound....

Despite all of his legal woes TIP (real name Clifford Joseph Harris, Jr) has been working on his 6th studio album “Paper Trail”. T.I has been under house arrest for the past couple of months (pending federal gun charges) he has recorded some 50 songs for the album “Paper Trail”. He also said that he has now started to write down his lyrics again, and that’s why the album is named “Paper Trail”. One song that he says that he can’t wait to release is called “Let My Beat Pound”.
MTV News talked to him and he said "Let My Beat Pound, will definitely make the album” .”That's gonna be a big record”," Tip said. "It's a different record. It's a record I approached differently, and it don't sound like a typical T.I. record. It's basically about when you got your first car, one of the first things was to make sure your [sound] system was right. The love for the boomin' system. It has the sentiments of LL Cool J's 'Boomin' System,' but it kind of sounds like a Sir Mix-A-Lot [song]. It's kinda got the mood and tempo of 'Posse on Broadway,' but it's outta here."

We know he will come through with a banger, but on the serious side Fresh Sobriety hopes he gets through these legal troubles. He also told StreetCred.Com to let his fans know “don’t worry about me, the lord got me.”
